Okay...So, it is November 2012. We experienced Hurricane Sandy. The Central Mall is in shambles.

Some questions:

1. Will Donald Trump and his buddies have to foot any of the bill for the land they are leasing/purchasing/building on, whatever?

2. Does Donald Trump still want to build a facility at Jones Beach with a basement?

3. Is Donald Trump still a genius?

Trump, seens to want perfection,top quality, and puts his name behind it,and very aggressive,puts his money on the line,and very forward thinking,nothing wrong with that,from what I read, takes advantage of opportunity.

What happened ? No restaruants at Jones Beach......how horrible ! Bring back the old Boardwalk Restaurant..... .....Trump is a "legend in his own mind"........

Another gaudy Trump monstrosity, except this tacky eyesore is being dropped into our back yard.

He built so many disasters in manhattan including the TOO-TALL World Plaza near the UN. Eclispsing the area with 70+ stories.
using air rights and an apparently friendly Giuliani.

Trump's name is De-classe. It works well on Foreigners and Gold Rolex Americans.

It's sad that I have to walk the Jones Beach Boardwalk and look at that horrible wooden structure. If "the Donald" can't work out his differences with the State of NY Parks Dept. than he should be the better man and back down and turn over (sell back) the rights to the State of NY so we can get on with another developer. I think it's sad that Mr. Trump won't comply with the State's regulations. Does he feel he is above the law. There is no reason to risk the lives of your employees and put a potentially hazardous basement in this building.
Furthermore, I would have liked to have seen a restaurant that may wife and I could have afforded to visit. Rather than one only affordable to the Trumps of this world.

Finally, Mr. Trump, On your News 12 Interview a while back you indicated numerous times, that "its sad" that the State of NY won't back down. Mr. Trump. I'm sorry to say that you have made this situation "sad".

Donald trump brings class elegance flash and a sense of power to everything he touches. I would be honored to enter any establishment he produces,as I have been in most and had the privilege of working in trump tower during the construction. Hopefully this is his first project of many on long island,tired of mediocre seafood and filthy hotels not to mention the horrible service. I would travel and pay any price for a great meal,beautiful view,and service that is worthy of having Donald trumps name,as far as his name on the building,I will get chills anticipating a grand evening every time I see that name which is synonymous with success and new York,go don

If and when it's finished to Mr. Trump's specifications the average LI'er couldn't afford to see the interior - hope it never gets done.

Wife and I miss the old Boardwalk Restaurant.

I wondering how many people on Long Island know that Queens and Brooklyn are a part of Long Island not just Nassau and Suffolk I would love to have Trump take over the restaurant. We will also would love to have the Islanders in Queens since Nassau Cty doesn't care about building them a new arena.

this will only attract more outsiders... keep the guidos out, and keep the beach for long islanders... who pay the #1 and #2 income taxes in the country

With all due respect Mr. Trump, are you kidding me! Where would the crowds of people that you expect to attract park? Understandably, the majority of events that you would host would take place at night, but on any given weekend day in season, the parking lots are filled to capicity, there goes day time events. Also, has anybody given any thought to what a long, hot, sweaty walk it would be, with current parking? With a team of employees like yours I'm shocked no one could fiigure this out. It's not like there's any available land to just build another lot!

I'm just praying this isn't the first step in turning the place into Atlantic City. And I'm wondering why LI politicians have to turn our beaches "upscale".
