Why isn't Paul Paoli Band playing this summer???

It's Thursday July 29 and the schedule for August is not on the site. Last night I was at the bandshell thinking its going to be the last night for the season - Fusion Night - and thnak god the MS announced that she will be there again next wednesday. So I went up to her said isn't this your last night? She replied NO I am here every Wednesday night until Labor day. I would of missed out the rest of summer if she did not say anything. Are the other schedule remaining the same like July? People cannot see your mind you need to post the schedule so that we know.

I would like to know who actually owns this bandshell, who are the booking agents, and how has it been established that all bands at least appear to be in the religous genre if it's run by NYS parks which I had believed?

Well i guess its like the last commentor wrote if your not a friend or 'connection' of bobs you can not play here--its a shame we only gotta see the same old cover bands that have been re-treading here the last 6 years---meanwhile there are a few excellent 'original' bands that are from here that can pack the place out---i have nothing against these cover bands personally and are friends w/ the majority of 'em that play here--but we need new blood--new hard rockin' bands if you will, that can bring back this current local staggering rock scene---bandshell bob its time to wake up and stop being a puppet for the corporate sponsors & management ---instead listen to what the people want to see here--it would make a much stronger rock scene---not this pathetic entertainment shell---the people have spoken

If Oldies night is Oldies night, why don't you get a genuine oldies band like The Tribunes, Time Was, The Clusters, The Expressions or Third Edition, or something such as that. When I hear an event be sponsored by WCBS oldies night, it should be oldies for us "seniors".

We also are hoping you bring back that girl Kayla Starr who covered some great oldies songs. We saw her perform last August and she packed the bandshell!

Hoping to see some other acts besides the same old ones every week!

The Mystic draws a huge crowd all over Long Island because we play all the hits that please all ages! Our 8 piece band sounds like the original recording on every song and people go wild for the band! We could easily be a tribute band for many acts, but we just cover them all too good! We'd love to play at te Jones Beach bandshell and blow everyone away. We'd definitely bring a great crowd like we do when we play on the beach in Island Park, Point Lookout and Long Beach! i was very disappointed that it rained so badly when reckoning was scheduled for july 31. i know this band from last year draws a big crowd. can it be rescheduled for august or september? i see wonderous stories is to play again on august 17. is it possible for reckoning to play then? i know alot of people who want to see them there again. thank you for all the good concerts!
