Classic rock musician & Grammy Winner Peter Frampton will take the Jones Beach stage on Sun, July 13 with special guest The Doobie Brothers.
Frampton's best known for his guitar-playing and his use of Talkbox, plus the hits "Do You Feel Like We Do" and "Baby I Love Your Way" from his smash album "Frampton Comes Alive."
The Doobie Brothers, led by original singer Tom Johnston, have only released two new albums since 1991 but are still going strong thanks to hits like "Listen to the Music" and "China Grove."
Frampton’s international breakthrough album was his live release, “Frampton Comes Alive!” in 1976. The album sold more than six million copies in the United States alone and spawned several hits, including “Show Me the Way,” “Baby, I Love Your Way” and “Do You Feel Like We Do.”
The Doobie Brothers have sold more than 40 million albums worldwide throughout their career with hits such as “What a Fool Believes,” “Listen to the Music,” “Takin’ It to the Streets,” “China Grove” and many others. The group was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004.
