Soul-country maverick Chris Stapleton has announced a new tour and a brand-new album. Dubbed Chris Stapleton's All-American Road Show, the tour builds on already announced dates in March and April. The new run kicks off in May, Along the way, Stapleton will perform at many historic venues including Jones Beach on July 21.
Brent Cobb & Anderson East will join Stapleton at the Beach.
Stapleton has also set a release date for his new album: on May 5th he'll release the follow-up to 2015's Traveller. Although the album's title has yet to be announced, he debuted the new song "Broken Halos" in December at Dolly Parton's Tennessee wildfire benefit and tried out the honky-tonking "Hard Living" on tour last summer. His double-platinum solo debut Traveller was the best-selling country album of last year, leading to a slew of accolades from the Grammy awards, the CMA Awards and the ACM Awards. Tickets:
