Imagine Dragons fans! The alt pop-rock legends have not mentioned any supporting acts as of yet. The band has been a bit mum about the entirety of the tour and where they will be headed, but they have announced the North American tour dates for what will likely become a world tour...

While fans will likely hear cuts from their sizable stable of hits — as well as tracks from the new record which is due out June 28 — the band wants their audience to attend shows for the communal experience.. “It’s just a lot of people in a room together realizing they’re not alone in their feelings,” lead singer Dan Reynolds told AP News. “I don’t necessarily need them to feel happy or sad or anything. I just want them to look around them and see that other people are also feeling something.”

Alternative rock band Imagine Dragons, which has never scored a No. 1 single but has sold some 75 million albums primarily on the strength of radio play, lands at Jones Beach as the second stop on its 2024 tour supporting the upcoming album “Loom.”

Imagine Dragons, formed in Las Vegas in the late 2000s, has earned a near-record four RIAA Diamond-certified singles, meaning sales of at least 10 million units apiece, behind only Bruno Mars’ five. “Radioactive” (2012), which reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart to become the band’s first hit, has sold 16 million units, making it also Imagine Dragons’ biggest song to date. It also reaped the band’s only Grammy Award, for best rock performance, out of four nominations total. Its other Diamond records are 2012’s “Demons” (2012) with sales of 11 million; and 2017’s “Believer” and “Thunder,” with 13 million and 12 million, respectively... A longtime quartet consisting of lead singer Dan Reynolds, guitarists Wayne Sermon and Ben McKee and drummer Daniel Platzman, the band as seen on its website’s official photo is a trio not including Platzman. He likewise does not appear with the other three on-screen in the music video for the new album’s first single, “Eyes Closed,” released April 3.
