An announcement from the long-time environmentalist notes that the excursion “will expand green touring practices and continue to promote sustainable local food systems and plastic free initiatives.”

Johnson, along with opener Durand Jones and The Indications, will play the second night of his tour on the second show of the season at the Wantagh venue. Fans are hoping a new album will drop soon as Johnson hasn’t released any music since 2017’s "All the Light Above It Too." “It’s been a while since the band and I have gotten together to play music,” said Jack Johnson. “We can’t wait to see all our friends on the road next summer and looking forward to a great tour. Hope to see you at a show! Aloha.”

Johnson is part of REVERB’s Music Climate Revolution campaign, which unites the music community around positive climate impact. His team is working with promoters and venues in support of the
BYOBottle campaign “to create innovative plastic free campaigns which eliminate disposable plastic, provide water refill stations, and promote reusables.” The tour will also “promote sustainable and equitable food systems, including support for local farmers and food access” via the Village Green at each show, with Johnson’s All At Once campaign supporting over 200 nonprofit partners throughout the run.. The artist is donating all net proceeds earned through Platinum and Premium ticketing programs to the Johnson Ohana Foundation. Johnson has also earmarked $2 from every ticket to support the environment, “with half being directed to carbon offset projects and the other half to support the All At Once Non-Profit Partners and their environmental projects, plastic free initiatives, and food security efforts.”

Jack Hody Johnson (born May 18, 1975) is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actor, record producer, documentary filmmaker and former professional surfer. Johnson is known primarily for his work in the soft rock and acoustic pop genres.[2][3] In 2001, he achieved commercial success after the release of his debut album, Brushfire Fairytales. Johnson has reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart with his albums Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies for the Film Curious George in 2006, Sleep Through the Static in 2008, To the Sea in 2010 and From Here to Now to You in 2013. His album In Between Dreams peaked at number two on the chart in 2005 and again in 2013.

Johnson is active in environmentalism and sustainability, often with a focus on the world's oceans. Johnson and his wife Kim created the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation and the Kōkua Hawaii Foundation. In 2008, Johnson adopted the concept of greening (reduce and reuse), and donated 100% of the proceeds of the Sleep Through the Static tour to the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation. Similarly, the proceeds from the 2010 To the Sea album tour went to All at Once, a Johnson-backed collaboration of greening charities promoting fan involvement.
